BVO Consult was founded 2011 in Hamburg by Bettina von Oesterreich. Her track-record is way longer. As per today she brings 35 years experience from non-executive and executive positions – ranging from board positions in globally operating banks, privately owned European financial institutions, Pfandbriefbanks and a US-Real-Estate-Investment-Trust.

Her experience is still an asset she and her clients can rely, but not rest on. It was perfectly fine for the start of her own business a decade ago.  

Yet with the shift of focus from risk management to Senior Financial Advisory in a changing and increasingly technology focused industry it was a consequent move of Bettina that from the very beginning she was not looking for clones of herself when composing the team around her.

Rather than looking backward she has a unmistakable feeling which additional perspectives, qualifications and characters are needed to professionally act within her widened portfolio of services. 

To deliver on BVOs brand mission the team as of today consists of millennials –  enthusiastic in what they do, tech-savvy, intrinsically motivated backed by a close-to-the-customer-attitude.

Diversity? For sure. Currently 70% female. Yet this is a snapshot and neither religion nor dogma. Bettina is simply driven to find the right talented, open-minded orchestra members for the tune she wants to play and allows them to bring in their own interpretations. Wrong: She even expects it.

Apart from the inner circle, her team, Bettina partners with a fine selection of trustworthy companies with core competencies complementary to hers such as accounting, legal and technology experts. This is when mastering large data-sets and her long-term sector experience create synergies helping to innovate Finance.
